Hunger Awareness Day
Hunger Awareness Day brings our community together to offer information about hunger, explains how the SLO Food Bank works to alleviate it, and shows the many ways you can support our efforts.
We are eager to announce that this year, in addition to in-person donation sites and online experiences, we are coordinating CalFresh application assistance to support families and individuals with enrolling in this vital nutrition assistance program.
On Sunday, May 29, join us at SLO Brew Rock to kick off our Hunger Awareness Day activities with the second annual benefit concert and limited beer release! The lineup, brews, and music is a combo that makes this an event that cannot be missed.
Friday, June 3 is the big day! Join us to inform our community of resources to alleviate hunger in SLO County, raise vital funds to support our hunger relief efforts, and help us reach our goal to provide 910,000 meals to those in need in our community. At the end of the day, cheer on the Blues baseball team at their game against the Solano Mudcats. We are the charity partner for this game! You can get tickets here.
