Call for auditions for the San Luis Obispo Master Chorale

Event Description:
Sing with us! Following a highly successful return to the stage performance last month, the SLO Master Chorale is holding auditions for new members. Choral experience is preferred but not required. Individuals should plan to sing a prepared piece up to three minutes in length and provide a copy of the music for the accompanist. You can learn more about auditions and sign up for a time slot by visiting our website.
The San Luis Obispo Master Chorale will continue to follow all State and County guidelines in regards to health and safety as it pertains to COVID-19. Additionally, full vaccination against COVID-19 is required for everyone to sing with the Master Chorale. We will also continue to adhere to all health and safety requirements of the Performing Arts Center. Current guidelines permit the temporary removal of masks while actively performing or rehearsing. All singers will be expected to wear masks when entering and leaving the rehearsal facility but will have the flexibility to unmask or not when actively rehearsing and performing.
Upcoming Performance: Our next concert titled “The Poets Speak” will feature works by Ralph Vaughan Williams in celebration of the 150th anniversary of his birth in 1872. The Master Chorale will perform Fantasia on the "Old 104th" Psalm Tune, Five Mystical Songs, and Dona nobis pacem. The concert will be held on April 24, 2022, 3:00 pm, Harold Miossi Hall, Performing Arts Center in San Luis Obispo.
